Madeline has over 10 years of bridal makeup experience. She studied at Robert Fiance Makeup Academy and permanent makeup at Beauty Everlasting. Lisa, our lead hair stylist, is a licensed cosmetologist who has over 15 years of hair experience. She specializes in bridal styling, cut, coloring, and extension application.
To reserve your wedding date, we require a signed contract and a non-refundable $100 deposit. The deposit will be deducted off of your total on the day of your wedding. Your wedding date cannot be reserved without these two items.
Wedding hair and makeup should be booked 8 months to 1.5 years in advance. Waiting less than 8 months before your wedding date significantly lowers the chance that an artist/stylist will be available. Always inquire to confirm!
Yes! You are welcome to book a trial before your wedding. A deposit of $50-$100 is required to book your trial and will be deducted from your total on the date of your trial service.
Please note that the bridal trial is a separate service from your wedding. This means that your wedding date will not be reserved until a signed contract and deposit for that date and service is received. Failing to complete these crucial steps would leave your wedding date open for other brides to reserve. We do give notice and 24-hour response time if we haven’t received these items from you and another bride is inquiring for your date. Most brides reserve their wedding date before booking a trial.
Trials can be held in either Stroudsburg, PA or Whitehouse Station, NJ. Trial dates open bi-monthly, so please inquire the month before your intended trial date.
Our team artists hold trials at their studio locations. Please inquire for their exact locations.
Many things can change in the year leading up to your big day, from your wedding vision board to complexion and hair color. Because of this, the best time to schedule your trial is 2-6 months before your wedding. Trialing closer to the wedding date will give you a more accurate idea of what the big day will look like.
No. Trials are a seperate service from the wedding service. Trials are $200 per serivce.
We determine our start time based on the photographers’ scheduled arrival. We aim to finish 20 minutes prior to photos so that you will be camera-ready. Brides are allotted 1 hour and 15 minutes per service, and 45 minutes are allotted for the bridal part members. Makeup By Maddie will send a formal timeline of your wedding morning a week before the big day.
Yes, we do currently accpet credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, & Discover) There is a 10% processing fee. Additionally our credit card agreement must be signed prior to payment.
We can accommodate any bridal party size! We have a team of very talented stylists and artists to assist with larger weddings. Each artist/stylist can take between 6-7 bridal party members.
Brides are allotted 1 hour and fifteen minutes per service, and bridal party members are allotted 45 minutes per service.
Yes! Once all of the initial services are completed, we offer touch up services for as long as you’d need at $100 an hour. Please be sure to discuss this additional service with us prior to your wedding day.
All of our fees and services are listed on our service sheet besides the two below which Makeup By Maddie will inform you of if this applies to your big day:
1. If an additional artist/stylist is requested in order to meet a certain time restraint. Additional artist fees do not apply to bridal parties without time restrictions for the starting time of services. As long as each artist has 5-6 serivices each there are no artist fees. Additional artist fees are $150 per artist/stylist.
2. Additionally, there is a $150 fee per artist/stylist for early start times. Early start time is starting before 5:30am.
No. Our rates are not determined by the product amount we use. A natural glam will take equally as long as a full glam because the same techniques are being used, just different products. Our rates are determined by our demand and skill set, not by the requested style.
No. Complete payment is required from the individual who signed the contract at the conclusion of services on the booked date. Most brides collect their bridal party’s payment beforehand and keep in an envelope for the morning of the wedding.
We accept deposits through Zelle or ApplePay and day-of services in cash.
Email is the best way to reach me. Texting or DMing is not as reliable as I am more likely to miss the message or not see it in time for your desired booking.
The deposit for your wedding day is $100. This will be deducted off of the total on the day of your wedding. For team artists the deposit amount varies. Please inquire for a quote.
Trial deposits are between $50-$100 depending on if you are getting both hair and makeup done.
Makeup artists need a minimum of 4 feet of table space each and hairstylists need about 2 feet of table space each. Because we want to give you the absolute BEST quality work please do not expect us to work off of floors, beds, or coffee tables. Tables must be regular height. If you are unable to provide this space please let us know so that we can bring a portable table. We will always bring our own chairs and lighting.
Travel fees are calculated from your nearest trial location. Each artist will be paid a travel fee. Please refer to our service sheet for pricing.
